Our Firm
A boutique architectural practice rooted in Pensacola — designing buildings that listen to the people who use them and the places they inhabit.
Our JOURNEY
Artisan's Architecture was established in 2000 as a sole proprietorship, built on a simple conviction: that the best buildings come from the deepest understanding of the people who will use them. In January 2007, the firm incorporated as an LLC — a milestone that reflected years of steady growth and a deepening commitment to the practice and to serving our clients.
Our first project was an addition/renovation to a historic home located in East Hill. As we gained exposure and experience we quickly began specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects, including multiple churches & office buildings, as well as historic building renovations in downtown Pensacola.

Our MISSION
Every project begins with deep listening. We ask more questions — about how you live, how you work, what frustrates you about your current space — before we draw a single line.
We work with a small number of clients at a time so every project gets principal-level attention from start to finish. You will always know who is responsible for your project.
Every place has its own character — its climate, its history, its landscape. We design buildings that belong where they are built, responding to their environment rather than ignoring it.
Good architecture lives in the details: the way light enters a room, the feel of a door handle, the proportion of a window. We stay engaged through construction to make sure the vision survives contact with reality.

Principal Architect
Chuck founded Artisan's Architecture as a sole proprietorship in 2000, incorporating as an LLC in 2007. He is a licensed architect in Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi, and holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Auburn University (1988), where he also completed the Cooperative Education Program. Chuck moved to Pensacola in 1981 and grew up here watching Pensacola become the hub of culture, history and coastal living which it has become today. He is proud to call Pensacola home and looks forward to having a hand in making Pensacola even better through innovative architectural design.
